She left a trail of memories
of riding wild and free.
Forever nestled in my heart
that lives inside of me.

Life goes on and years slide by
and then one day I saw.
A sparkling ray of sunlight,
shining thru a cloud.

Far away and up above,
the Rainbow bridge, there stood.
A golden mare with flaxen mane
alone upon the ridge.

The love still burns within her heart
of love so long ago.
She longs to meet me once again,
upon the Rainbow Bridge.
